Code One default switch: Browns vs Reds

Gateron Brown switches are a better default for Code One than the original Gateron Reds — quieter on our 3.0s, tactile feedback Reds lack, and a better all-rounder for the builder audience.

7am side-by-side with Kish, Viggo, Jasper across 4 boards. Code One Gateron 3.0s quieter than Keychron equivalents for both colours; Code One Browns quieter than Code One Reds; Browns gave tactile feedback with satisfying activation force — not too light, not too heavy. Kish's Brown board space bar standout. Community signal (r/BudgetKeebs) trending toward Browns as the solid default.
