How #standup Works
Our daily standup ritual — done yesterday, top 3 priorities today, blocked / need.
Every workday, post your standup when you start work. Please have it in within the first 15 minutes of your day.
Keep it short. This is not a full report, just the key things for the day. It should take about two minutes to write.
Done yesterday:
Today:
1.
2.
3.
Blocked / need:
Done yesterday
Only include what was actually finished. A line or two is enough.
Today
List your top 3 priorities for the day. These are the main things that should move forward today, not your whole to-do list.
Be specific about what you're doing and what “done” looks like.
| Good | Too vague |
|---|---|
| Edit 1 reel, ready for review | Working on content |
If you finish your three priorities early, move on to the next useful task or check with your manager on what to pick up next.
Small tasks, replies and admin will still happen during the day. They don’t need to go in your standup unless they’re one of your main priorities.
Blocked / need
Include anything stopping you, or anything you need from someone. Tag the relevant person if needed. If there’s nothing, write Nothing.
If something needs more explanation, reply in a thread under your standup or ask to grab 10 minutes. We don’t have a fixed daily standup meeting.
Post on office days too. Same channel, same process. #standup gives us a running record and keeps everyone aligned even when we’re not all in the same place.
